I have heard it said often, that Nietzsche is misunderstood. Bart Simpson for example, is not a candidate for a Nietzsche follower as his antics are often fueled by rebellion towards Skinner, thereby making him not be his own person but still defined and controlled by Skinner. • Nihilism:Nietzsche recognized nihilism as a growing problem in his time, where traditional values were losing their hold, leaving a sense of meaninglessness.
  • Will to Power:He proposed that the fundamental drive in humans and all of nature is the “will to power,” not just the will to survive or achieve specific goals. This “will to power” is a striving for growth, expansion, and overcoming.

  • “The Last Man”:In contrast to the “Übermensch,” Nietzsche also described the “Last Man,” a complacent individual who seeks only comfort and pleasure, lacking ambition or a desire for self-overcomin

Is Schnuggie an ubermensch?

He seems to be more of your last dog variety. He lives for creature comforts. And just look at the nihilism?!
