Morality Tale

Gary Busey dies and comes back as a dog to clean up the mess he made as a human in Quigley. He is a dog hater who must be a dog and learn important heart lessons.

There is even a sequel to this movie, Quigley 2.

Romance

How about the romantic comedy, Puppy Swap.

Yes this movie exists, but much like my guy friends who loved Mariah Carey videos and just put them on mute when they came on VH1, the dogs are cute enough that the same principle and enjoyment can be applied.
