Did you know that Michaelangelo is said to have have had a Pomeranian lay on a satin pillow while watching him paint the Sistine Chapel?

Martin Luther, a leader of the Protestant Reformation, had a Pomeranian named Belferlein who he apparently mentioned in his writing.

Sylvester Stallone is a lover of Pomeranians and has one that he chauffeurs in the front seat of his fancy sports car.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart owned a Pomeranian called Pimperl. Mozart wrote an aria dedicated to his Pom.

Fran Drescher and Sharon Osborne are also women of good taste and own poms.

Charles Darwin owned a Pomeranian named Snow.

Sir Isaac Newton, mathematician and physicist owned a Pom called Diamond.  Diamond would chew his manuscripts. Maybe it was his falling in love with his pom that really sparked his insight into gravity?!

Frederic Chopin, his “Valse des Petits Cheins” was inspired by his girlfriend’s Pomeranian.

Keanu Reeves owns a pom he named Fluffy. The more I learn of Keanu the more and more I like him.

Even Harry Houdini couldn’t escape the cuteness of his Pomeranian, Charlie.

What would Michaelangelo have painted if he had Schnuggie in his vision?
